FAQ

Is there a minimum age requirement?

Yes, riders must be at least 14 years old and accompanied by the adult responsible for them and the deposit for their bike.

Do you provide protective gear?

Yes, we offer helmets with each bike rental for free and we have a selection of gloves, t-shirts and other equipment available to buy from our shop.

Bike Sizing

Our bikes are basically one size fits all so long as rider height is between about 1.60m and 1.90m - we can adjust to suit when you get here.  That said, we also have step-through designs which help those who are a bit less agile. They ride really well but are easier to get on and off.

How do I book different bike Types for my group?

The process is simple but since bike availability is calculated per bike type, it's best to check availability for all bikes for the desired booking period before starting the booking process.  Please read the Booking Tips page for more help. 

DO YOU OFFER DELIVERY AND PICKUP SERVICES?

Yes.  We offer free or paid-for delivery and pickup depending on days rented, group size and distance.  Please see Delivery for more.

CAN I CANCEL OR CHANGE MY RESERVATION?

Yes. We offer refunds according to timescale but changes are free so long as we have availability.  Please see terms & conditions.

DO YOU OFFER MULTI-DAY RENTAL DISCOUNTS?

Yes!  We are offering fully equipped top of the range bikes for very reasonable daily rates that decrease the longer you rent.  If you have big groups or longer that 1 week rentals in mind, please call us to discuss.

WHAT IF MY BIKE BREAKS DOWN?

Don't worry, we're here to help! If you're out on one of our day trips and need us, we'll come to you. If we have a spare bike we'll bring it. If you want a refund, no problem. Whatever we can do to help, we'll do.

WHAT IF I CRASH THE BIKE?

We have an insurance policy to soothe the pain! But seriously, the insurance policy has a 25% deductible and some strict conditions before it will apply but if the worst happens, it may help.  Please read our terms carefully for further information.

WHAT IF THE BIKE IS STOLEN?

We hope that doesn't happen! But if it does, we have insurance to help. There are some strict conditions for insurance to apply but all details are available to read in our terms and conditions.
